I recently moved to Orange County and selected Laguna Hills Dental based on the reviews I read. I was very please with my first appointment which included, x rays, and cleaning. The front office staff is very friendly and efficient. The dental hygienist was very professional and through to explain everything to me and what I can do to improve my teeth health. She did something new which I had never experienced which was to scan my teeth look at my gum health and bacteria on teeth. This technology helps to show the bacteria on your teeth, your gums health and to consider getting a deep cleaning in addition to the regular cleaning. I appreciated this extra step as it shows the hygienist is looking after my total health. She explained the process very well and what to expect. I did not have the deep cleaning yet, but I am considering it.
Since this was a basic appointment for x rays and cleaning, I did not spend much with the dentist but he came in to check my teeth against the ex rays and was very informative and welcoming.

This appt. was for a cleaning, and was my second time at this office. I really like Dr. Parekh, and I like his staff.This was a different hygienist from my last visit four months prior. She never told me her name until I asked at the end of my cleaning, "Chelsea". She was very curt, and I don't know if she was that way because I asked her why she used water instead of scraping, to which she replied"scraping causes Carpal Tunnel". She did go over a few of my teeth but nothing like my first cleaning visit. She never said a word about if I needed to work on a certain area ,how anything looked..Nothing. Very impersonal, no chair side manner whatsoever.
I will definitely make my cleaning appts. on a different day from now on.I went to the front desk to pay and I go three times a year, and pay for the third out of pocket. I had specifically asked Oscar on my last visit how much the cleaning would cost and he said 76$. When he gave me my receipt it said 110$, I questioned it because it was only four months ago that I had asked. He talked to someone in the back and came back and said with inflation it went up to 110. I'm not complaining about Oscar, he's very nice and doing his job. It's the principle of it, that they didn't honor the price he had quoted me. I left a little discouraged, and wasn't sure about leaving a review, and then decided to.

Had to come here for a workers compensation issue. The injury was 10 years ago and I’ve been to 3 other dentists, directed by my workers compensation issue division. Finally learned a few things about work comp and selected this office.

Man, all dentists are not created equal. This place is top notch. Way too much to list. They are punctual, understanding, comforting (I get super nervous at dentists), excellent at what they do. When I told them of some of the practices their peer offices do, they couldn’t believe me.

Dr. Parekh is the best dentist I’ve ever seen. Just a normal guy who is great at his job. RDA Liz is amazing. She does much of the work a dentist does with high proficiency. She is happy, nice and does great work.

The doctor is an artist who cares about his patients and gives it his all whether it’s an expensive reconstruction or just a lil repair. He’s helping me get over my phobia by being understanding and honest. 🌺 The staff is super friendly. 💗
