Dr. Sun is very gracious and very friendly. She puts one at ease and makes it very easy to communicate with her, like visiting an old friend! She’s very knowledgeable and I certainly would recommend her to anybody.

I visited Dr. Lena for intermittent foot pain. She recommended some footwear changes along with specific stretches. When I forgot the details of the exercises after returning home, I reached out to her through the app. It was the middle of the night but she promptly responded with detailed diagrams.
During the examination, the doctor was both knowledgeable and courteous. Compared to my previous experience with a private practice podiatrist, I felt much more cared for.
The only drawback is that Sutter Health has a long wait time to get an appointment- I spent more than an hour on phone to make an initital appointment!

Dr. Sun saw my mom. She is decisive and straight forward. She arranges X-ray for my mom right away and take all pre-caution to make sure my mom’s infection is not more wide spread. I would see her myself if I have any foot problem.

Dr. Sun is warm and extremely knowledgable. She even drew a picture of the issue I was having in my foot to help better explain what was going on as well as the treatment. She thoroughly explained my options, along with the advantages and drawbacks of each. I was extremely delighted with my care from Dr. Sun and should I be in need of a podiatrist in the future, I will request Dr. Sun at Palo Alto Medical Foundation (Fremont).
