I cannot thank Dr. Hsu enough! She is extremely compassionate and knowledgeable. I went to her with a fractured metatarsal, and she explained to me that the fracture needed immobilization to heal properly. She made transitioning from a hard cast to a walking boot so much easier. I am grateful that Dr. Hsu helped me to overcome this foot-related challenge. The staff are cheerful and very helpful with scheduling appointments.

Dr Azar is the best she help my 2 kids with there feet my 15 year old son is walking way better because of her help, so happy and blessed for them and cant forget the girl in the front office are so nice and sweet

Azar Dastgah doesn't want to be a doctor, just talks mainly about herself (what in the?) and her own issues without listening to patients' concerns going so far as being dismissive & flippant as any ailments she hasn't experienced herself isn't apparently "valid" in the mind of this intermediate health staff member. I immediately requested for a different provider and if none is available I still wouldn't repeat visit with this woman.

Just an awful experience and a sad addition to Podiatry being seen akin to Chiropractic services as it is already. I would always recommend to see an actual Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in feet vs your basic "podiatrist" if insurance allows, that is the specialist I will be requesting to see.

Maybe she's good with "ingrown toenails" per other reviewers?

I had an appointment today, at 9, could not make it on time, because of an accident and traffic lights issues. I was late about 10 min and they told me that they have a five minute policy and need to reschedule . I mentioned that I need to see the doctor and that is hard for me to reschedule. The staff tried to talk to the doctor and the doctor said that she cannot change this policy.
I am sure that doctor is spending enough time with each patient, but there is no flexibility and understanding. The staff were working hard to help me but the doctor could not be flexible and did not accept me, for 5 minute delay policy.

I wish this "5 minute delay policy" was communicated to me in advance.
All details about insurance and money were communicated, not this!

Update: After this review, they called from office again to reschedule and said doctor was not involved and a miscommunication happened. I don't know what happened. Just don't feel comfortable to work with them.

I called at 1030am to see if I could somehow get an appointment for my 5 year old son later in the day for an ingrown toenail. I was told we could be squeezed in around noon, which was perfect for us. Although they don’t advertise it (at least where I looked), these folks were amazing with my son. Dr. Dastgah has clearly dealt with a number of children and she was phenomenal with my son. If she wasn’t distracting him with stress balls, she was making sure his view of the procedure was blocked as she used a vibrating tool and numbing cream to take the edge off the pain he experienced as she injected lidocaine into his toe to deaden the nerves. From beginning to end, she spoke in a calming voice that put my son at ease. These people clearly know their business for both kids and adults.

I like a doctor that is not pressed by time, that make the effort to understand why you are here and what is your goal. That is what I got with Doctor Azar Dastgah. She explained what were the risk for the surgery on my toe and I took the decision. The operation went well and with her advice for early self physical therapy, I progressed quickly. I got back some of my lost range of motion early and a beautiful healing scar, barely noticeable a month after the surgery.
Give her a chance to ease your pain.

Dr. Dastgah is an excellent podiatrist, I trust my foot care to her and have for many years; For me it's all about high-quality medical care from an attentive and highly trained specialist and she is definitely that. Bedside manner at her office is good overall; they do their best to balance Dr. Dastgah's schedule even if patients like myself sometimes push it back with their lateness.
