Dr. Elder is a wonderful oral surgeon. I went to him for a dental implant. He was very informative and professional. My dentist recommended him. He has an MD, which I believe in vital for dental implants. He did a great job and followed up with me just to make sure everything was ok. He truly cares about his patients. And the office staff is lovely! So kind and attentive. I would recommend Dr. Elder for any oral surgery, especially dental implants.

Great doctor! Knowledgeable, caring, thorough, and skilled. Dr. Elder was recommended to me by a friend in the dentistry business. I am so grateful for the referral. My family has been going to his office for several years for extractions and implants. If you have any apprehension toward having your teeth worked on, he is very patient, and kind. He's happy to explain the dental procedure/process you're having done, whatever it takes to help you feel at ease.

I've mostly had interaction with two gals at the front office, both have been helpful with scheduling, and billing. While I do have insurance, there are co-pays, and some costly. Dr. Elder's office has been kind enough to set up payment plans that work for our budget when an emergency extraction was needed.

Wonderful office, compassionate, kind, and local! Love!

I had oral surgery on 1/14/2020. I had a tremendous experience. I know the dentist right?. Not this Dr or staff?. I was greeted by the prompt courteous, comforting ladies in the office. Then went back for my surgery. Dr and assistants were great. My anxiety and high blood pressure was gone the moment I sat in the chair. Dr explained in detail every step and was so gentle. I would give 10 stars if I could. It's been 48 hrs and recovery is going as well as my office visit. I sure hope anyone looking to have oral surgery chooses Dr Elder and staff. The 2 hr drive was more than worth it. Thanks again Dr and staff. Bless you all. Sherrie Carpenter

I simply cannot express enough gratitude to the staff of Dr. Elder's office. I drove my wife to her appointment for a tooth removal yesterday. The procedure went well, and took even less time than the estimate. At that point, I wanted to get my wife home as quickly as possible so she could rest and be able to medicate as needed. But to my horror as I went to start my car, I discovered the battery was completely dead.
I went into the office to ask about nearby tow services, but Jonathan and Ryan just jumped in and said "we got you." First we tried a jump from Jonathan's truck (he had the cables--I did not), but it soon became clear that the battery itself was shot. So then Ryan helped get the battery out and gave me a ride to the auto parts store a half mile away. Installed the new battery, and we were finally on our way home--much to my and my wife's relief.

I know when you guys went to work that morning, you were probably not expecting to have to do any auto repair that day! But you truly were lifesavers--patient care is one thing, but you guys really went above and beyond, and you have our most sincere gratitude.

The whole team was so sweet and I appreciated them. They made me feel comfortable and less nervous about getting my wisdom teeth taken out. I recommend going here, they have such a nice staff and a welcoming environment. I got a call a few hours after my appointment to check in which I really appreciated. Hands down best choice

Had a crazy experience the first time due to paperwork from a different dental office, but the staff here worked with me and were quite helpful. Dr Elder has a caring personality and that definitely reflected into his work as he was patient and didn't rush through any questions I had .The vibe here is all around great and that helped immensely during this stressful process because I wasn't as scared during my last visit since I felt I was in good hands. Coming from me that's really saying something because I have a dental phobia and trust no dentist lol. Keep up the awesome work, y'all rock!

was covered under medi-cal although you have to wait till it approves it but when I did go. They were very nice people. and only waited in the waiting room for about ten minutes then stepped into there room. They were there pretty quickly these dentists mean business and were there instantly and stuck the iv in me and I got dozed out but didn't fall completely asleep. So they numbed me up with who knows what lol. But within 25 minutes all 5 teeth were removed and I was on my way. Im sure for most people they are able to fall asleep fine, they said I had a high tolerance. Without falling asleep and the numbing stuff the pain was only maybe a 3-4 out of 10 and its done so quickly its like the phrase when your rip off a band aid quickly the pain is only so long. very impressed with these guys and would recommend them to anyone needing teeth removal. And if the staff see this thanks for doing me good! p.s. if anyone wonders what teeth were exactly removed it was all 4 wisdom and on bottom left tooth!

All in all a good experience. Staff was nice and I had complete confidence in Dr, Mahr. They have their procedures down pat and my daughter was in and out with 4 wisdom teeth removed in record time.
My only complaint, and it is very minor, is that they prescribed an anti-anxiety pill to take prior to the anesthesia. I would have preferred if this had been offered as an option.
