Dr. Refela AkA: (BEAST) meaning she knows her stuff! Ever since I switch dentist's and came across Dr. Refela she's been taking care of my and my family's teeth's.

You can tell that she takes pride in what she does and is serious about taking care of your teeth, she's very gentle and considerate when she's doing work on you, she's constantly asking "how are you doing?" Which makes one feel more at ease since a lot hate going to the dentist. Dr. Refela is a little different than most dentists out there, I've been through some where you're just a number to them, they just want you in and out and not to say they do not explained anything to you.

Dr. Refela explains everything she will do to you, the cons/pros of procedures and she will recommend what's best for you. She'll take her time with you and never rush her work, she'll listen to what you have to say, that is why I like going to her, I know the job will get done right and I'll leave there with a smile. A lot of dental places love to overcharge their patients and try to sell them things they really don't need, here I've noticed they are very affordable and never try to sell you things you don't need.

Their equipment, office and rooms are always cleaned! Their office always smells good too. As for the staff as well very friendly in person and over the phone, unlike other offices where the front staff is rude not here really friendly all of them front and back staff they all make you feel welcome.

Overall my family and myself are very happy with Dr. Refela and her staff, so that being said thank you BEAST!

Today, just another great experience; this time with routine 6-month cleaning. Smooth operation, excellent care. Also provided complimentary tongue scraper, which I’ve never used, but am willing to give it a go. Thank you!

Since leaving my pediatric dentist and coming to Monrovia Dental Care, I've never felt compelled to write a review. Simply because it is a simple dental office, I've never had a bad experience but I've never had an experience that I felt warranted a review, until today.

Today I was cared for by my regular dentist but by a new dental technician, Jocelyn. At first, I thought she must have been new as I had never met her. But I was pleasantly wrong. She has been at this clinic for quite some time but is usually helping with surgery cases instead of regular cleanings. She was quite familiar with both of my parents.

We hit it off immediately. She was bright, warm, and quite friendly. While she worked on my teeth, I felt quite at ease. While waiting for the doctor to join us, we struck up such an organic and engaging conversation about our tattoos that I didn't even notice the doctor come in. Talking with Jocelyn felt like talking to a childhood friend. It was really quite refreshing.

So thank you, Jocelyn, for taking care of me and taking an interest in a small part of my day.

I arrived on time for my appointment and was taken back to the exam room within five minutes of my arrival. The staff, technician and doctor were friendly and competent. I was very satisfied with my experience.

I was scheduled for a cleaning in January but needed to reschedule. I called, expecting the rescheduled appointment to be pushed to March but the receptionist said that they had a cancellation to fill and asked if I could take the appointment. Yes!! It worked out perfectly!!
