I recently moved to the Peninsula, and need medical contacts. I was referred to Monterey Peninsula Dental Group, specifically Dr. May. I was given a text reminder, which I appreciated, and upon arriving, greeted with a warm welcome. I do appreciate kindness and civility.
Dr. May and his staff were top notch. I had completed a survey about my needs in the days prior to my appointment, and it was reviewed by them prior to my arrival. I discussed my wishes with Dr. May in a comfortable--not rushed--setting, and we set upon a plan! The tools and devices they used were wonderful! I hadn't been introduced to the latest and greatest by my last dentist, so I was very impressed. All in all, I had a great first visit!

The appointment itself was great. Dr. B was friendly, professional, and very informative. All the staff were careful to explain each procedure in detail.

The reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the ridiculous patient forms that I was forced to complete before my first appointment. These questions may now be standard procedure for any medical practice but I don’t think the extremely lengthy questionnaire helps anything but the data gatherers get paid.

Dr Lehr is a great dentist. He is attentive and listens to your individual needs. Together we made a plan for the best course of action to get my teeth, looking their best and healthy. I would highly recommend his skill in dentistry to anybody. His whole team makes you feel like family.
