The Movement For Life facility in SLO (862 Meinecke Ave) offers a great physical therapy experience. It is also so easy to schedule appointments online. I started there after rotator cuff surgery. Your provider doesn’t pass you around, they stay with you for your entire session. They are also very knowledgeable and able to answer your questions, so you get great results. I would highly recommend them - satisfied customer!

I have already done this but I will do this again! Lauren was great, she had great ideas and knew what was involved with the injury. You do NEED more space, that is ridiculous and there isn’t any room for your clients things. Have had PT in Morro Bay and they have Lots of room and you don’t feel cramped like I did in SLO.

I came here because I’d broken both wrists, and had had surgery. Both of my hands needed PT to get back to useful appendages.

My primary therapist was Troy, along with Xavier, CC, Amy and Mike. They were all very kind, and it was clear they are wrist specialists. I appreciated the emphasis on stretching as opposed to painful manipulation. Troy routinely answered my many questions about arm anatomy. I was always given homework, PT to do at home, and I was energized by this team behind me. Everyone just wanted me to improve, and we all celebrated as we saw incremental growth.

Also a shout out to Jeremy & Abbie at the desk. First, they are really nice! They had to convince my insurance to continue covering my recovery, and that took a lot of pressure off of me.

I highly recommend Movement for Life. If you’ve had and injury or other condition, you’ll find knowledgeable & compassionate people here to help you.

I can see why my doctor recommended them for hand therapy. They are fantastic! I worked with Marissa Battaglia and she was knowledgeable and friendly and gave me lots of information. My hand is almost back to normal. The aides (especially CC) were also kind and helpful.

The Hand Therapy staff at the Meinecke Ave location are amazing! The DPTs are all highly skilled and caring. The Hand Therapy Assistants are always welcoming and helpful. My arthritis pain has lessened quite a lot because of the very effective hand therapy I'm receiving. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

EDIT: And this is a BIG EDIT!!!

After Logan left, Brandon took over my PT. I continued to progress, and I have now "graduated" from PT. My range of motion is better than before, my pain is ZERO, and I honestly believe that Movement for Life saved my life. The surgery would have been dangerous, the surgeon I was paired up with is horrible, and the VA did an amazing job of sticking with me through this last year. I am, finally, healed. Thank you, M4L, Logan, Brandon, Abby, and the entire M4L staff. Thank you.

It's no secret that the Baby Jesus of PT left for another job.. these things happen.. Most places, however, can't recover from losing their Golden Cow. M4L has done an exceptional job, Avi has taken over my PT and I'm continuing the miraculous recovery promised to me in the New Testament!....

I've been to physical therapy before, I have over 20 years of back pain experience. I've never felt as strongly about a physical therapist in the past as I feel about Logan. OK, maybe he isn't always my favorite person, sometimes PT is painful, but Logan makes it always bearable. He actually listens! I have "severe stenosis" of my C6-7, a "pinched nerve". I have no doubt I'll have surgery, but Logan has made the time while getting diagnosed (which he did perfectly without an MRI!!) and inevitable surgery bearable. I was in extreme and unrelenting pain, Logan has not only confirmed my diagnosis, but has made the wait time for full resolution actually bearable. I rate him above all but 1 of the doctors I've ever seen for pain... and I've seen a LOT of doctors over 25 years.

Had to wait 10 minutes after my apt time, which never happened before. Was cancelled because the person was sick. Evidently no replacement. Otherwise would be a a five star.
