i went with someone who is a patient there. One time I went inside I had to use the bathroom, so i did, They didn't seem to mind, and they gave me a water for my dog. i Thought that was kind because it was hot that day. the person i went there with says he thinks the Doctor, and his staff are most competent , and very compassionate. they fixed his neck problem and he has no complaints. i really can't say what kind of relationship you will have with them, That will be between you and them, you just gon'na have to see for yourself. good ? luck.

I attended my first appointment , I was treated very well. The staff is corteous, friendly, and very helpful. Office is very nice and clean no long wait very efficient crew. Dr. Monis is an excellent physician, very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. Richard is very good , very professional. I'm so glad and so relieved to be a patient here

Sometimes Drs. need to talk to their patients instead of listening to their staff,it is very easy for his office manager to say to you that she has gone out of the way to help,but their staff will always blame the paitent knowing that they never carry on what the Drs order are (whether it's an MRI or CTScan ). In the office waiting time is always over 3hrs wait! Blame it on the patient too Beware of this clinic! And the patient has to be quiet and not make any complaints because ,If you are not happy with the service they will make you feel unwanted and classify you as abusive ! Specially the office manager who tries to hide the fact that her staff is Very unprofessional and negligent ! If you really want to know more about this doctor's rating go to Webmd and you will see he has the worst rating from his previous patients.

I was recommended to Dr. Monis by one of the field representatives for a medical equipment provider. I was having a problem with an implanted device due to its physical size and the location where it had been placed within my back. After meeting with Dr. Monis, I found the best course of action was going to involve a second surgery to replace the piece of equipment with a much improved unit. Even though I have had 7 prior surgeries, for various reasons, I was not looking forward to having one more. I was very thankful that Dr. Monis explained the specific ways which he was going to use during the procedure and what the expected outcomes would be both short and long term. On the day of my surgery, I was at peace with the course of action which Dr. Monis was going to use and was able to talk with him about how he chose the specific support staff, ie. anesthesiologist and surgery nurse within his surgery center.
Now I am two weeks beyond the actual surgery and I am very pleased with the outcome. Dr. Monis is the fifth surgeon who I have worked with for the various procedures which I have had done. As I compare him, along with his support staff, with the other surgeons, he is one of the best. I have to admit that I was leery to have the surgery done in the Imperial Valley in the beginning due to the various problems that other family members and friends have experienced when being surgery patients here. I am happy to admit that Dr. Monis has definitely changed my mind about having surgery done here and should the need arise, for further surgeries, he will be the first surgeon I will call on. .

I am speechless. The disrespect the attitude. I am still a patient. He took away my medication over me complaining about severe pain. Walked in crying in pain after several hospital visits and left hysterical from that place. Pain Doctors. What is the real definition. I have never lied to them always straight forward. I don’t recommend this team. I just don’t think they have the heart. The brain is the doctor the nurses are the heart. In this case we are just another number.

Very helpful and highly experienced doctor. Resolved the cause of my pain in spine and back as well as relieved my pain on the spot. I only waited like 10 minutes in the waiting room which was great compared to other doctors that I waited for hours and we're not able to resolve my issue. Highly recommended
