I visited this office multiple times in 2023. I ended up needing multiple fillings replaced and a crown. As nice as they are, my experience was terrible and I ran into a lot of incompetence. Here are just some of the issues I had:

-My first appointment was almost three hours because the X-rays took so long. Constant retakes and equipment issues. I thought I would be getting a cleaning that day (as I had at other new dental offices), but no! You have to reschedule for that.
-Things being broken seems to be an ongoing theme- another visit the air conditioning was broken in one half of the building, but in overdrive in the other half.
-During one of the filling replacements, the water pik stopped working, and as they were trying to get it back up and running, the metal top shot off and hit the wall (fortunately not my head)
-The doctors seem to be double booked, so they would frequently come and go for 15-20 minutes at a time in the middle of work
-I had a temporary crown put in, and came in for an adjustment, which I was told would only take 20 minutes. I ended up waiting an hour and a half because the doctor left (where? another patient? I don't know) before it could finish. I had to leave and did not get the adjustment.
-When I had my first crown put in, they glued it wrong, so they had to rip it back out after the glue had cemented and start the weeks-long process of getting the replacement all over again
-When one of my fillings needed an inlay, they DROPPED THE INLAY ONTO THE GROUND, lost sight of it, and spent the next 15 minutes searching for it.

Because they were nice people, I decided to just never go back when all the work was done and leave it at that. But now, a year later, I received a bill in the mail for a few hundred. I thought everything had been paid upfront, as agreed upon. It is my understanding that in California, you must bill someone within 12 months of the treatment. My treatment they were charging for was August 28, 2023. The statement date they sent was August 21, 2024. Just under the wire! It's frustrating that I am dealing with this a year later.

Obviously not everyone has this experience, but I would not recommend this office based on mine.

Awful staff with zero customer service! I was parked to walk in the clinic before grtting a service, and they blocked my car and were harassing me saying they've called a tow truck to move my car. The "worker" would not let me leave even after my explanations! I imagine how she treats the patients! STAY AWAY from this please or make sure you have an appointment before parking there!
If that worker reads this comment, next time I'll sue you for emotional stress, limiting my ability to move or to move my property!
I should have recorded her attitude and how she was blocking my way out!

I’ve had nothing but a great experience with Dr. Arami and Dr. Ariz at the Northridge Dental Group. I started seeing Dr. Ariz for my TMJ earlier this year. My jaw pain was unbearable and I wasn’t able to sleep so he recommended I start therapy with his appliances and have been basically cured within a year. Highly recommend seeing Dr. Ariz if you also experience jaw pain or discomfort.

They did root canal for me and the filling fell off in few weeks, even though they charged insurance $800.

They also did a full evaluation of teeth. In advance, i asked if it is covered by my insurance. They said the coverage will start next month, but they will not charge me and it will be their courtesy. Guess what, I just got the bill.

For roughly 11 yrs, I've shunned dental visits because of actual & perceived pain or tremendous discomfort (no great fan of neither).

Lately, driven by necessity, I headed back to Northridge Dental Group & saw for myself how things were. I was stunned beyond belief how my long-standing perception was found groundless & purely w/o basis. The staff was businesslike but welcoming. And always with smiles planted on their faces.

The general atmosphere was very pleasant, diametrically opposite to my original opinion. Kudos to Crystal, the dental hygienist who took care of the deep cleaning procedure. The poking with the anesthetic needle wasn't w/o the usual pain but bearable because her capable hands were steady & gentle. Dr. Clara Lee was exceptional as a dentist & as a person. Soft-spoken, gentle, & affable, ever the skilled & competent professional. The assistants, both men & ladies, exhibited remarkable qualities that spoke volumes of the training & orientation they went through. Overall experience was epic, worthy of admiration. Pat on their backs!

Dentist is color blind. Crowns do not match my teeth color and very ugly color. 3 of them. Wish I went back and made her change the crowns.

This has by far been one of my most positive experiences at Northridge Dental so far and I have been coming here many years. The lady that cleaned my teeth was an absolute pleasure to be around. I keep coming back because here quality is so good but having people you really enjoy makes it that much better.

I have yet to meet a better medical front office staff or team of dentists and hygienists!!

I truly like the whole staff.

The dentists listen, are professional, and very accommodating. I have several health issues that need attention. And they are personable and relaxing to be around as well. They make every effort to make you comfortable while in the "chair."

They truly try to save your teeth or fix them to last a long time.
