I brought my 18 month old for his first-ever dentist appointment, and was blown away by this practice. The office is the most beautifully designed dental office I have ever seen. The staff and Dr. Mekel are exceptional, and had the best bedside manner. They made every aspect of the visit feel personalized and thoughtful through incredibly effective touch-points that catered to my toddler’s comfort. His name was written in colorful letters on the entryway when we walked in, his favorite show was playing overhead in the patient room for the exam, and he got to pick out a toy at the end!

Dr. Mekel is amazing! We had our first dentist appointment with her today for our 19 month old son and could not have been more pleased with our visit. The office is beautiful, clean, and so inviting for little ones! Could not recommend her enough.

We had a wonderful experience with Pacific Coast Pediatric Dentistry. This female-owned business is the complete opposite of an old, aging, boring dentist office. The personal touches that Elite has integrated to create a fun and welcoming space for children really go above and beyond. There was a name board to welcome my son for his appointment, interactive games and toys to play with while checking in, a large learning space and a fun assortment of reward toys to choose from at the end of the appointment.
Adult to adult, I learned so much about my son’s development, what and when to look out for certain things, as well as prevention tips to put to use at home. Adult to child, Elite was warm, gentle and playful with my son, making him feel at ease and smiling the entire time. We are so happy we’ve found this practice for our son and future kids! This is definitely the elevated future of pediatric dentistry.

Absolutely great experience today with my 3 year old ! This was our first visit at this office and Dr. Mekel and her assistant Karla were so nice, patient and informative. Dr. Mekel really took her time to talk to the both of us, educate me as a parent on oral health and most importantly knew how to make my child comfortable in a new environment! The office is really bright, clean, inviting and super kid friendly! We can’t wait for his next dental check up in 6 months!

Truly incredible experience. Dr Mekel took the time to make my son comfortable and explained everything she was doing. The waiting area is so inviting as well. He was super excited about brushing the dinosaurs teeth. I’m so grateful we found this office.

Dr. Mekel is amazing! She not only took the time to explain every detail and give great suggestions, but she was also very welcoming and patient with my son. My son (2 year old) felt very comfortable. He was able to watch his favorite show while Dr. Mekel completed her exam. The location is clean, spacious, and welcoming. Parking was convenient and available. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this pediatric dentist.

We had a great visit with my two year old! When we arrived she was excited to see her name on the board welcoming her for her first visit. Dr. Mekel was warm, gentle, and kind. Both she and her assistant were encouraging and positive, helping my both of us feel comfortable. She went slow and let my two year see and touch all her instruments before doing anything. I love that on our incoming paper work they asked what my daughter liked and she made a point to ask/mention those things when she talked to her- great patient care! On our way out Dr. Mekel stopped to play with my daughter in the play area. Everything was very professional, we recieved great care and I couldn't be happier with this practice. Highly recommend.

Dr. Mekel was just so wonderful at meeting our family where we are in our understanding of dental hygiene and airway for a 13 month old. She was caring and professional in guiding us to what we need to do for my daughter's oral development and oral/dental health. She spent the time with us we needed and did not make us feel rushed even though we were the end of the day appointment. I am so happy I found her and feel at ease knowing my kiddo won't fall through the cracks in her airway development and dental health.
