This is a long overdue review for the amazing treatment provided by Dr. Chang! - I had a few teeth that had root canal performed by Dr. Chang, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the initial consultation to the post-treatment follow-up, her professionalism and expertise were evident. The procedure itself was remarkably thorough, and I was genuinely surprised by how little pain I experienced.

What truly impressed me was Dr. Chang's compassionate approach. She took the time to explain the process and patiently answered all my questions, ensuring I felt comfortable and informed. Her post-treatment follow-up call to check on my progress was a testament to her dedication to patient care, which I rarely experienced from other dentists. It's clear she genuinely cares about her patients. I felt welcomed, cared for, and confident in Dr. Chang's abilities. If you need a root canal, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Chang!

Outstanding professional Endodomtist care kind and caring staff the doctor worked on me and the entire treatment was painless. My pain went away and after the numbness went away. I am so grateful to find such an excellent dental endodontist dentist. I would highly recommend her to anyone that wants quality care. I don't write many reviews but I felt I must write this one so people know there's an excellent endodontist in the bay area. I had a large cyst involving three teeth and and it was unfortunately located near a nerve which meant I could loose sensation if the nerve was damaged.
Dr. Chang checked my CT and teeth, and suggested a root canal retreatment to avoid the risk of an oral surgery. On the day of retreatment, she used her hands to open up a tiny tiny tunnel to the root of the sick tooth with many tiny tiny metal needles. Pus came out through the tunnel immediately. She also put in medication and sealed the tooth with temporary fillings.
I am now waiting for the medication to work so she can do the second step to finish the whole treatment. My gum have already felt better and the bump area is smaller.
I don't want to wait after the second appointment to write this review. I am already a happy patient! She saved my tooth and get me out of a risky surgery. She deserves five stars!

Dr. Chang, in my view, is outstanding. I have had two root canals and the care I received was excellent. The office is warm and welcoming with Diana greeting you warmly as you arrive and dental assistant, June, making every effort in her kind way to make you feel comfortable.
Dr. Chang is thoughtful, kind and takes time to explain everything fully. She even contacted me at home, during her lunch break, when I had questions about an upcoming procedure. There was no pain with either root canal and both times she called me at home the next day to see how I was doing.
Dr. Chang is exceptional and I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Pei Pei Chang is simply an amazing specialist. Her staff was very attentive and friendly.
