I called this office in bad pain from an ingrown toe nail. I just had knee surgery on the same leg 3 days prior. The amazing lady that took my call did everything she could to get me in the same day but could not, she then shared valuable info over the phone. I took the next day apt and I am so happy I did. Dr. Ahn was amazing, caring, and professional. Both of the women working the front desk were friendly and welcoming. This was a great experience for what it was..thank you Dr. Ahn and staff! 10 of 10

Dr Vaughn was great. He discussed my options but recommended the least invasive treatment which turned out great

AMAZING!! THE ABSOLUTE BEST DOCTOR AND STAFF!!
I would like to commend this office for Dr Vaughn and his support staff for such amazing care and treatment of patients. I had a back injury at work in 2021 and with it came nerve damage that has caused some severe foot and leg issues. I had been going to a podiatrist elsewhere for over a year and got zero care. I really felt like I was getting nowhere and with that came a great deal of discomfort and pain along with frustration and depression on a daily basis. I was told during an IME (independent medical exam) that I should seriously consider seeking better podiatry care. It was obvious that I was not receiving care of any kind where I was at. I spoke with my orthopedic surgeon about it and he being a pretty amazing Dr himself asked his colleagues whom they thought was the best and could help me with podiatry care and Dr Vaughn of Paradise valley foot and ankle was recommended and so I scheduled my appointment and in my first visit with Dr Vaughn I felt so much real because I was x-ray’d in office then given more and better information in that one visit than in over a year with the other podiatrist. Dr Vaughn has not only been able to provide the care that put me at ease and feel like I’m finally going to be ok and get the help I need but he’s also fought on my behalf with work comp who’s dragged their feet and ignored me for months at a time in a tactic to avoid taking care of my issues which have already been confirmed as directly related to my back injury by my orthopedic surgeon, 3- IME’s and now Dr. Vaughn. He’s fought to get me casted for custom orthotics that will help prevent the fissures caused by the lack of sensation in my feet and many other issues that lead to the foot problems I have that he is treating me for. I cannot say enough about the quality of care I’ve received and continue to receive from Dr Vaughn but also his staff. Tonya at the front is an absolute sweetheart and Crystal and Sarah have been amazing to deal with and they’re all willing to go the extra mile to help in anyways possible. They’re always very nice and welcoming and willing to help in anyway possible. I have not had the pleasures of being seen or treated by the other two Dr’s in this office but it seems they are proud to offer a next level experience so if you’re feeling like you have gotten nowhere in your care elsewhere and wanting to be treated well and by helpful extremely experienced podiatrists with an amazing support staff of the highest level then this is the place you want to come to. I am so relieved to have found them and you will understand the difference when you are seen in this office.

Update: 8/7/24
I’ve continued care here for a wound on my heal. Dr Vaughn and Dr Ahn have both helped with this but I was given access to Dr Ahn whom is an amazing Dr but also a wound care specialist. She is in the office for this twice a week and I have been in every other week sometimes more since I started coming to this office and I’ll say that I’ve consistently seen my care and treatment put first over billing every time I’ve gone in. The office staff is so supportive and kind in a way you don’t see most places and I’m absolutely blown away still by the care from the Dr’s here and I am so grateful to have found this place considering the care I’ve received in the past at other places that unfortunately don’t see you as a person but a row of billing columns and it’s so sad that so many out there are treated that way and I was too before I found this place. Here at paradise valley foot and ankle not only am I treated well but my wife and son are also treated very well. Everytime we come into the office it’s like we’re walking into a friends home to visit and are greeted and treated this way every time. I hope that more will some day become like the people who make this office such an amazing place of comfort and healing. The absolute best staff and Doctors in the country are here and you’ll notice your first visit.

Dr. Kayce is the BEST. He explained everything without pressuring my husband to get surgery. When we opted for the surgery, he was super compassionate, kind and knowledgeable. He keeps great tabs on his patients with follow up appointments and instructions post-surgery. We would HIGHLY recommend him to any of our family members or friends. My husband is without pain for the first time in years. So glad we went .

I saw Dr. Kayce as a "4th" opinion for an ongoing problem with my foot which had been worsening over the past year. Dr. Kayce was attentive, intuitive and was pretty certain as to the diagnosis. He explained the issue which I had never heard before, but would not be 100% certain until an MRI had been completed. I was completely floored that it took so long to find a doctor that knew what was going on, and further-- it seemed, how few podiatrists in the Phoenix Metropolitan area surgically correct this issue. I delayed my surgery for as long as possible due to commitments and other issues with my health. I finally had the surgery completed in February, 2019. I could not have asked for a better outcome. I have full function of my foot post operatively. I was given complete care by the office and Dr. Kayce. I recommend him to anyone seeking Podiatry care in Arizona.

I went in and saw either dr Vaughn or dr Kayce for a toenail that I needed treated. The podiatrist at Paradise Foot and ankle looked at the toe and told me that I had a fungus and suggested very strong medication that is hard on the liver which I decided not to take. So he saw me for less than a minute to make his assessment and charged medicare $225! I ended up with a bill of $137 that neither Medicare or my supplement would cover. The doctor also pointed to my other big toe and determined it had a fungus but barely looked at it because it had only a slight bruise and a cracked nail, no fungus. I do not recommend this podiatrist and am giving it two stars because the front desk is friendly and professional

I needed two surgeries last year (2021). The staff was the absolute worst group of people I ever had to work with. Anything and everything I needed them to take care of I had to request twice. The nurse that scheduled my surgeries didn’t set up my pre surgery appointment until the day before in a panic. She also didn’t notify me that a scooter wasn’t covered by insurance. I could have ordered one online ahead of time if I had known. They were rude and difficult to deal with. I was on an airplane when the were filling out information for a second Set of FMLA paperwork. I had to have someone rush to turn in the paperwork for the second time, since I was getting on a plane to go see my dad in Illinois who was dying. The second surgery wasn’t much better!! There was a horrible lack of communication with the doctor. I felt it was his job to inform me what the surgery would and wouldn’t do prior to the surgeries. I didn’t know what questions to ask since this was the first surgery I ever had. Fortunately, I was able to find another doctor after the second surgery. Very disappointed!!! I thought that they were supposed to be there for the patient, but apparently not.

I want to thank Dr. Jason Kayce for providing such great patient care and treatment for me. I felt like he listened and heard all of my concerns involving my medical issues with my right ankle and left foot. His treatment and after care has been nothing more than amazing! His bedside manor has always been professional and caring. I am truly thankful for Dr. Jason Kayce!
