Horrible place. Giant sign out front says "URGENT CARE" and "Walk-in clinic", yet they are neither and urgent care or walk-in clinic. I was met at the front desk by a rather rude lady with an attitude telling me I can't be seen because they are now part of some specific medical group. Which specific one I wouldn't know, because she didnt even bother to ask what insurance I had or anything. Just handed me a card and was very dismissive. Based on my first impression, I wouldn't recommend ANYBODY wasting their time here. Find somewhere people are actually polite and courteous...

Recently my insurance changed and I needed to find a new primary care physician to refill my prescription. First Valley Medical Group was in my network but I hadn't been there in years. I called up, told them what I was in need of and was able to get a next day appointment. I was assigned to Dr. Julia Granese, FNP. When I arrived the waiting room reminded me of my grandmother's house which in a way gave me a since of peace. The nurses were kind and greeted me and were quick to assist me. After about 10 minutes I was taken to the back to get my basic vitals done. Once I had chance to meet Dr. Granese it was evident from the start that she cared. She would not refill my prescription until she did a FULL EVAL. What I went for was a simple refill on my pills but what I left with was her and the nurses compassion. Over the next couple of follow ups I was able to improve my numbers and get what I needed. Caring is something that they do well. I would most definitely recommend Dr. Julia! *Also to note, there is no longer an Urgent Care onsite.

WELL....the bad: LONG....VERY LONG wait times, and I often have to remind them to call in the prescriptions to my pharmacy.
The good, and that is only my personal opinion, I keep going here only for Dr. Denley. I know he likes to have long conversations, BUT, he always gives me the time I need (and more...lol) AND, he really helped me out as I had a personal problem. He is really a good guy.
Also also the good, I just visited yesterday and it only took 30 minutes of waiting. There is also a new younger nurse that did an excellent job. I hope it keeps improving. Not sure who manages that place, it has so much potential.

I've been a few times now and I really love Dr Buffman and I give him 5 stars 🙂 He takes time to talk to you and you can tell he cares. The only downsides I've found are that the wait times have been really long every time I've gone... Like 1-1.5 hours! But if this what I have to deal with to see a doctor who listens to me and takes the time to make my visit worth while then I'll take the wait!

The other annoying thing though is that they seem to close the clinic early sometimes & I'm not sure why. I've arrived twice within business hours to find the closed which is definitely frustrating.

Went there for urgent care to stitch up a 2 inch slash on my finger. This listing and the massive sign out front says URGENT CARE. And after reading other reviews..apparently it’s been dangerously mislabeled for over 2 years. I asked the secretary where the nearest urgent care was located and she mumbled something back to me. I asked again and still couldn’t understand her mumbling. Meanwhile I’m holding pressure on my finger that ended up needing 5 stitches. And turns out she didn’t even know where the nearest urgent care was located.

I don’t even know where to start. I guess I’ll start by saying the staff here is pretty friendly. The doctor I saw also really friendly. However the reason i gave this place 2/5 stars is due to the unorganized appointment scheduling, call backs, test results and awful waiting times.

My first appointment that I scheduled took about 2 weeks to finally set up. I had left a message because it was the weekend, never received a call back (which the machine said would happen). So I called again on a weekday. Again got the message machine. Then called again the next day and finally spoke to a person, who set my appointment up for the following week (luckily I had one day off of work to go in and get seen). Well my appointment was for 11am. I wasn’t seen until nearly 2pm. Now I’m a patient person but what if I had somewhere else to be that day? If it takes 3 hours after every scheduled appointment to be seen then I’ll have to book it at 9am (when they open) just to avoid being there all day. As I said the staff are all relatively friendly and when I went they had an intern who helped draw blood and what not. She did great. I was dehydrated so I had to come back the next day and was told I could just go in and be seen right away to draw my blood. Well I went back the next day at 9am to avoid waiting 3 hours for a simple blood draw. Still took 1 hour to be seen without an appointment ONLY because the intern remembered me and had me go get blood drawn once she saw me waiting in the lobby. Lastly the blood tests have not yet been given to me and it’s been nearly 3 weeks.

Update: So I called in yesterday to find out my results of the blood test. Again I got the answering machine. So I had to call back a couple more times. After about 15 calls I was finally able to talk to a person. I told that person who I was and why I was calling (to receive my blood test results). She asked my name, put me on hold and about 3 minutes go by before the phone starts ringing again, to which another lady answers (maybe it was the same lady idk), again I tell the person my name and this time my birthdate too. Again I was placed on hold for a couple minutes. After about 3 minutes on hold again, I’m transferred without talking to anyone to extension 101 I believe to which I decided to just leave a message even though I have no clue who I was transferred too. I’m sorry but what the hell? I have never ever been to a doctors office that was so unorganized in my life. Like you have my email, my address, and my phone number and yet still never sent me my results. Then it takes 2 days to even talk to someone about anything. On top of that I still haven’t received my blood work. I’m switching my primary care doctor.

Update 4/3/18: I called back in today and spoke with a Kendra. I didn’t talk to a voicemail which was great. I told her about my situation and she helped me over the phone within 5 minutes. All the questions I’ve had for the past 4 weeks were finally answered. She informed me that I should receive my results tonight. No transferring me to voicemails, no leaving me on hold for 10 minutes. Kendra was wonderful, courteous, and professional in her approach to the answers to my questions. She also apologized for the long long wait and informed me that it shouldn’t have taken that long for someone to at the very least give me a call back. Now look I don’t know why it took so long and why it’s so hard to have a sticky note reminding you that you need to contact someone but at the very least the staff is great. I just wish it was more organized and faster. Changing my stars to 3/5.

If you decide to go to this place be prepared to enter the Twilight Zone! It took 4 1/2 hours to get stiches in my mom's shin(who is in her 80's). Dr. Henley was more interested in talking to other staff and his friends than focusing on the job at hand. The place was not clean and I'm sorry my mother who was visiting from out of town had such a bad experience. Urgent Care should be the go to place for things like this so I recommend that you stay away unless you like hanging out all day.
