The best dentist office I’ve ever been to the entire staff is so friendly and kind. The front desk ladies are helpful., the nurses that assist the dentist are helpful and kind. Miss Angel is the best dentist
I’ve ever had. I love her so much. Can’t wait to come back for the next time the other two doctors /dentists that helped me were also wonderful!

I had a great experience at Rancho Cordova Dental. I have a lot of dental anxiety and the office was so great at easing my anxiety. The ladies at the front explained all of my benefits and helped me get the treatment I needed. The assistants were polite and the Dr was awesome as well.
I will definitely be returning to continue my dental care

From check in to check out my experience at this dental office was unacceptable. At check in, I was told me cleaning was free. And then almost immediately I was told it would be $50. There was so explanation why I still had to pay my deductible even though I had been in for my first cleaning and didn’t pay. That’s fine, I’m not happy but insurance is complicated. Then I sit down and the hygienist hands be filthy, smudged glasses to wear. The entire time I’m getting my cleaning she is telling me that I will need to next level of cleaning and special treatment. When I told her I did not want anything she continued her sales pitch and told me the doctor would make his recommendations. Again, fine I understand this is a business. But when someone says no that would need the conversation. When the doctor came in he continued the sales pitch. He never asked me what my home dental hygiene is like. He never tried to help me find ways the correct whatever “inflammation” he saw. He only recommended expensive procedures. When I declined, he too got more pushy and continued his sales pitch. He had the audacity to say he wasn’t telling me I new the further cleanings/treatments to get my money. He said my money wouldn’t make a difference to him. Which is extremely rude, and an inappropriate thing to say to a patient. He operates a business. If he can charge insurance for an extra treatment then obviously my money does matter to him. Then he procede to compare the inflammation he was seeing to cancer. He told me by declining treatment it is essentially the same as declining cancer treatment. At this point I was tired of this interaction and told him that was an incorrect comparison and I disengaged completely. As someone in health care I can 100% tell with absolute certainty that untreated inflammation is not the same as untreated cancer. For icing on the cake I had the exact same interaction at check out. She said your “Cleaning is free, well actually $50 deductible”! And I said so not free, it’s $50. I paid and will let the insurance figure out what’s going on . The communication and professionalism of this operation is sub par. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone unless they find it fun to engage in sales pitches. Their version of “preventative care” has nothing to do with helping you make sustainable changes in your life outside the office, it is all about expensive treatments and making money.

I had a great experience at Rancho Cordova Dental Group. I typically don't like the dentist, but this office changed my feelings on that. From start to finish I was comfortable. I worked with Rachel and she was helpful and patient. She explained my benefits and answered my questions. Excellent dental care.

Receptionists are very rude, this office always tries to upcharge and charges you for things that you should not be charged for. Got an infection in my tooth from work they started, was in extreme abnormal pain but the doctor had tried to tell me it was normal despite me having a standard prep for a root canal to be started. Practically had to beg the receptionists to get me seen sooner and be prescribed antibiotics. It is also the receptionists job to call their other offices for me to be seen due to them giving me an infection, however they wanted me to call around while in extreme pain. Had already paid what I owed, their other office they sent me to tried to charge me again, and once again their other receptionist was very rude. After I finally got all of my work that I needed and paid ALL MY BILLS, I get sent emails from both this office and their other location saying I have outstanding bills. This is the absolute worst dentist I have ever been to.

Not good to say it nicely. Always running late. Was left in treatment room by assistant "for 5 minutes" after 20 minutes I got up to leave and the 'visiting/traveling' periodontist stopped me and asked what the problem was. After I explain the situation, she couldn't understand why because we could hear the assistant in the lunchroom laughing and having a good time .She then proceeded to poke around and prescribe almost $3,000 worth of work without explaining why we were doing any of it. RUN! Don't walk away, Run from this facility. I believe it to be a training facility and that's something they don't explain to their patients.

First time I came here was several yrs ago for tooth pain. They ended up doing a root canal and crown. The root canal went amazingly! I had to wait a week to get the crown and once it came in they were, once again, very professional about it. Crown hasn’t bothered me in the slightest since I got it.
I went back again last yr for wisdom tooth pain and the x-raying went smoothly and at a decent pace. Didn’t feel rushed. They took out that wisdom tooth that same day which was a relief! The only bad thing about that experience was that not enough local anesthetic was used so I felt some of it. The Dr was very professional about it though and had me get another set of x-rays afterwards to show me how all of the tooth was taken and that the antibiotics would take of what’s left of the infection.
I was recently there again for another wisdom tooth removal and, once again, they were very professional. This time I did have a different Dr doing the extraction but it went very smoothly and fast.
All 3 times I came here the receptionists have been quick, professional, and friendly. Even the few times I’ve called they’ve never had me on hold for a long time or been rude. They are just an amazing dental office and will continue going to them.

STAY AWAY!! THE RANCHO CORDOVA DENTAL GROUP HAS DISHONEST BILLING PRACTICES!! I had a cleaning in November. Then recently, I receive an email saying I had a new bill. I wasn’t sure what it was about because I paid my co-pay during my last visit, so I call the dental office. I’m told I have an outstanding balance. I mention that I received a check from my dental insurance a few weeks back and they tell me to bring in the check because they want to “look at it”.

I had never experienced this before, so I called my dental insurance for more information. They explained that I saw someone out-of-network and that I have a balance owed to the dental office. They instruct me to call the dental office to ask about the claims/ outstanding balance.

When I call the dental office back and asked these same questions, I’m passed to the office manager, Rachel. Rachel was already defensive and saying that she didn’t understand why I was calling about such a small amount. How condescending! As a patient/customer, I think I have the right to ask about the claims/ billing to my insurance, specifically why I had an outstanding balance and why my insurance was being incorrectly/ fraudulently billed, no matter the amount.

They billed my insurance for services I didn’t receive (fluoride varnish) with a dentist that I didn’t even see (Angel Nguyen)! Apparently, Dr. Angel Nguyen is out-of-network, but I saw a hygienist on my last visit! This office is supposed to be in-network and yet I wasn’t made aware of any of this during my appointment. Also, my dentist was Dr. Michelle Wong who I last saw in July. So I’m not sure why I was assigned to Angel Nguyen?

Rachel said, even though I didn’t see the dentist Angel Nguyen, the hygienist is under her and that’s how they bill you. How does that even make sense?! And she would remove the fluoride varnish charge, but that I still owed for my cleaning. She wanted me to bring in the check so she could “reconcile” things. Yeah, so they could fraudulently charge my insurance for services I didn’t receive! She then accused me of cashing the check, when in fact I didn’t cash it, because the check amount is higher than my outstanding balance. For Rachel to assume I’m trying to benefit off some insurance payment is beyond offensive!!!! When in fact, it’s their office who is benefitting off of this check! They are hoping you won’t look over your documents and bills, while they tack on any services they can to your insurance, in hopes that you won’t catch their fraudulent charges!

Rachel started getting louder and talking over me, saying all I had to do was bring in the check. I no longer felt comfortable coming into their office due to how aggressive and unhelpful she was being. I offered to just pay with my credit card the remaining balance and be done with all of this. But Rachel said no and continued to badger me about the check. I was getting nowhere talking to her and ended the call. I have mailed the signed check to their office. So glad to just be done with them!! I called their office for help and information. And the manager RACHEL WAS EXTREMELY RUDE, UNHELPFUL, AND HAD ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!

I have cancelled all of my appointments with this office. THEIR BILLING PRACTICES ARE EXTREMELY DISHONEST, FRAUDULENT, AND SKETCHY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY!
