Unfortunately I had a bad experience there today. Got there early and didn't get seen until an hour after my appointment time. Only got seen to take my x-rays and then was left alone in a room in the back and told someone would be with me shortly. 30min later, I'm looking around and only see 1 doctor, two people in dentist chairs, me in the small room, and a bunch of people in the waiting area outside.

I asked someone how many people were in front of me. The lady said "two people...um or maybe just one". This just made me give up and I told her I wanted to reschedule.

When she took me to the front to reschedule, I asked her if my insurance would still be charged. She looked and said yes, but just for the x-rays. I asked for a copy of the x-rays and was told it would be a $50 charge for these and then told it would be a $85 charge instead. Never in my adult life, have I had to pay to have my dental x-rays for my records. They are charging my insurance already, so why not just give me the x-rays? Why the need to make even more money out of us? She saw my frustration and said "as a courtesy" she can send them to another doctor's office without charge. Does that mean normally they charge for that too?

At that point I just gave up and asked for their contact info and hope to get a more professional place that doesn't book SO many appointments for the same times and respect people's times more. Unfortunately, the other reviews saying that this place only cares about money are right. The doctor heard everything and did not have the decency to come help the poor front desk girl who had to just repeat their policy back to me a million times.

1. Don't charge people for something you are already billing insurance for. This is dishonest and puts people with lower resources and limited time in a very tough spot.
2. Don't book tens of appointments at the same time and have people waiting for long periods of time. If someone is waiting for a long time, BE COMMUNICATIVE and honest and let them know what is going on without them having to hunt someone down for answers.
3. Help out your front desk employees when in a tough conversation. Don't just sit there and watch it happen.

Dr Laura is very caring and does a very good job I had a crown done and she did a wonderful job Im very satisfied with how it turned out and I recommend rancho dental the staff is very helpful and friendly thank you for making my smile way better than it was ❤️

Been going here for years. Dr is so friendly and informative. Discusses all procedures and everything so I understand exactly what I’m paying for and what is going to take place during the visit. Office staff is informative and so polite. Place is super clean and kid friendly. It is cold and for good reason so always take a jacket. But even then... once they gave me one of those disposable gowns to help because I was really cold that day. Great dental office!

They just want you’re money! The doctor is extremely sketchy and just wants to do operations you don’t even need so she can get a paycheck. I was told that I had 4 cavities, needed 3 root canals, and needed 2 teeth extracted. I knew I had none of those. I then went to another doctor and got told I had really clean teeth and had no cavities.

From the beginning on my first visit I was greeted very nice from staff and dr. F. Villarroel-kamich dds. He explained everything I needed to know and made me feel confident anxious to get my teeth done. I highly recommend this dental office and Staff

I’m still so happy to be able to see Dr. Villarroel!
She is hands down the best dentist I have ever had and she addresses every concern and question I have, on top of being the most kind and thorough dentist ever. My bottom 2 teeth have had receded gums for the past 10 years that I thought was showing the roots of my teeth but grey, but every other dentist told me its nothing to worry about and just floss and its go away, but when I brought it up to Dr. V, apparently I’ve had a calculus deposits on my bottom 2 teeth and my gums have never been able to heal and go back because every dentist I had before her ignored it!!! For 10 years!!!

Cannot recommend her enough and I’ll be seeing her as my dentist until I either move or dont have any teeth left lol
