I moved to Bakersfield in 2008. I have seen 4 dentists prior to Dr. Riar. I started going to Riar Dental Arts in 2022. Initially what caught my attention was the location, 3 minutes from my home, and then I read the reviews.

In 2008, I had a root canal done and a crown. The dentist who initially did it, left a gap in between my teeth. I dealt with food getting stuck, such a nuisance. Due to insurance coverage I had to wait 5 years to have it worked on again.

In 2013, a second dentist re-did the crown, a little improvement, but still had issues.

In 2018, I had a third dentist look at my crown, he did not re-do the crown but made some adjustments, there was some improvement, but still had issues with it.

In 2022, I met Dr. Riar. I told him of the history of that tooth, it is pretty bad when you know the tooth as # 20. Dr. Riar looked at it and made his suggestion. I asked many questions, do you blame me, my history with that tooth gave me PTSD. Dr. Riar was very patient, answered each question, and fully explained the procedure. I told Dr. Riar, there will be no change if I leave it as is, I trust you, let's do it. I was scheduled for the beginning of 2023 (Due to insurance coverage) to have the crown redone. Dr. Riar did his magic, I have 100% relief, no more issues, yay!!!

I recently went in for sensitivity with a left mohler. I was limited to chewing on my left side and could not have anything cold touch that side. Dr. Riar once again did his magic.

It is nice to finally find a dentist who is knowledgeable, cares about his patients, and is cool to talk to. Every time I go in for my 6-month check-up, I have never had a bad experience. Dr. Riar and his staff are great.

Dr. Riar and his staff are the kindest, most professional, and friendly Dental team in Bakersfield. To begin, His office is clean, inviting, and calming. It has state of the art and cutting edge technology that ensure you get the best dental care available. The staff are all well trained professionals who understand dental care and can guide you to best practices. They always make me feel welcomed and at ease.
Most importantly, Dr Riar is top notch! He is a highly intelligent, well educated dentist who will make a thought out dental plan that is right for you using the most updated dental technology available. But he is also a down to earth guy who gets to know his patients and greets them upon each visit as if he is greeting old friends.
When my family dentist retired, years ago, I was so nervous to venture out and go to another dentist. I found Dr Riar at that time, I believe when he was first starting out in his own practice, in another office. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made.
I have followed him to his new office of course and will continue to follow him (even if it’s far) because being able to trust your dentist is priceless.
