There isn’t a better physical therapist in Baton Rouge area. Jason cares about his patients and has ways to get you healthy that no one else can compete with. He is amazing.

I’ve used Jason at River Parish PT several times through the years. No one likes going to PT, but when you need to, you should go to a place that really cares for you getting back to a better normal. When a DR says go to PT and suggest a different group I always say I’m going back to River Parish PT. Hands down great care and concern for you as a person and a patient. Easy 5 star rating. Kudos to the whole crew there.

I am in my seventies but until the summer of 2023, I had never had back problems in my life. Suddenly, I couldn't even walk without pain much less get any of my daily activities done. It was really getting me down. I had heard great things about Jason Pitre and River Parish Therapy so, even though there are two, perfectly fine physical therapy places within a mile of my home in Baton Rouge, I chose to drive the 18 miles to Gonzales. I was not disappointed. Whatever they did at River Parish did the trick. After a few sessions of physical therapy, my pain improved greatly and, by the 8th or 9th session, the pain was completely gone to the point where I didn't need therapy anymore. I was then given some maintenance exercises to do at home. If I ever need physical therapy again, I'll head straight back to River Parish.

I am a 67 year old that loves golf. My back pain had gotten so bad that I couldn’t play without hurting and it was affecting every part of my life. I tried massages, pain management with injections as well as other PT’s with no relief. I was referred by a friend to Jason and he has turned things around. After several months of therapy, I am back to playing pain free golf. I am also able to be more active and get more exercise now that the back pain is gone. I highly recommend Jason and his team. Great people that give personal attention and they will get you feeling better.

The entire staff at River Parish Therapy and Wellness is incredibly kind, welcoming and accomodating. Jason is my primary PT, and he is an amazing PT with a vast amount of knowledge and skill. He has taught me stretches to do at home or when I'm feeling certain things and has also helped to realize when certain muscles are being activated and engaged in order to ensure I'm using the correct muscle groups for certain activities. Jason has gotten me past where I thought I was stuck forever due to my dermatomyositis. Since I have been seeing Jason, my strength has increased, and I am able to get more out of my workouts.

This place is fantastic. I could not lift my left foot 3 in off the ground went to see bone and joint dr he sent me to his physical therapy place 2x week fo 6 weeks. No improvement then he sent me to pain management dr to get injections in lower back. Got first injection and dr said could be 5 weeks to see if it helped. Did not help Thoth drs said nothing else can be don then I went to try river parish therapy (on my own no dr sent me) After they asked me questions then hooked me up to a machine 10 mins later I am lifting in 17 inches. That was about 2 years ago and I still can lift it 18 inches

I was battling shoulder pain for more than a year. Tried working through the pain in the gym and although my mobility did improve some, I was limited in the gym and my workouts were suffering more than I realized. You don’t realize how much an injury to one specific area in your body, like your shoulder can affect every workout the way it does. I was certain I needed surgery but decided to break down and go see Jason Pitre at River Parish PT. Within a couple weeks I noticed the pain as well as my mobility in my shoulder was significantly improving and within 2 to 2 1/2 months I was back to 100%. It’s amazing how much limitations can affect your workouts in the gym and actually certain functions you do in everyday life. I’ve had the best workouts probably in my life after going to River Parish for therapy. They not only fixed my shoulder but I learned how to perform certain exercises to prevent injury through proper form. I highly recommend RiverParish Physical Therapy!
