I love all of his assistants! Including Katie as well as Dr I’ve had him for years and truly he is a good doctor. I don’t understand all of these bad reviews. Everything is expensive. Evening living!!! neglect your teeth and pay the cost. and I’ve been referred out 1 time for wisdom removal everything else he has done on me yes he gets booked out very quickly. But he is good with what he does. He doesn’t sugar coat people. But he will always keep fixing your teeth no matter what.

I came here the first time last year to become a new patient. I was having extreme pain with an exposed nerve in my tooth. They told me there was no saving the tooth even though I didn’t think that was true, another dentist had said otherwise. They just didn’t take my insurance. I was offered no help for the pain and referred out. While being convinced the dentist would not extract it without a bone graft which would be an additional $600.I came back with extra money for a bone graft and the dentist could not even successfully numb my tooth to do a simple molar extraction. I am difficult to numb but you normally just need a second round. The issue was he was the only dentist and he was working on other people for the two hours I was sitting in the chair so by the time you came back your initial numbing had already started to fade and since he didn’t feel like doing it since it was end of the day he said I’m just gonna refer you out. He didn’t offer me any pain meds or anything to help with my exposed tooth even though it’s on them at this point. His wife who runs the desk was about as un-empathetic as you can be as a person. He couldn’t care and they basically referred me out to a bunch of other people even though a normal dentist should be able to do this, if they give the patient the attention and care they deserve not just shoot them in the mouth, and walk off for forty minutes.If I hadn’t been sitting in a chair for two hours waiting around the initial numbing wouldn’t have worn off.
Should’ve trusted my gut they have a nice office but it is all about money for them.That’s why it took me so long to come back to begin with because I had an uneasy feeling. The dentist isn’t focused enough for a molar extraction and doesn’t care if his patients are in pain, and didn’t offer anything in the meantime while I have to wait now.

Waste of time. I called out of work early so that I could hurry in. (They had a cancellation so I was able to get in rather than have to wait two months.) So I left work rushed over so they could tell me my bill will be $1800.00. The price is irrelevant but they made me leave work and come in to tell me something that could have EASILY been done over the phone. Ridiculous.

Update..what a crock. The dentist had already reviewed my x-rays before I got there. Otherwise there would not have been a treatment plan to present to me! I was not examined during this visit. I guess my time is not as important as theirs. My original review still stands as true.

I went in for a teeth cleaning and check up with Dr. Herrera, I always get a little nervous about going to the dentist, but as soon as I walk in, they always make me feel comfortable and relaxed. the atmosphere is so neat! Dr. Herrera did a wonderful job, my teeth feel so clean and look so much whiter than they did before the cleaning. his assistant, was very good also, there was no gagging on water like at some dentist offices. I enjoyed the experience and loved the results 😊

I have bad anxiety with dentists and was shaky and moving my legs constantly & He once laughed at me and said, "you’re stressing me out, and I'm not a stresser" lol. He made me feel more calm and he was very patient with me. Was very good with the numbing and drilling process. AND most dentists out there get irritated and annoyed when you’re very jumpy and over anxious. NOT HIM.
I had to go in for 3 little fillings before and I was stressing!!! I have horrible anxiety when it comes to the dentist, I was shaky, crying, jumpy. He reassured me and made me feel so much more at ease. He also does amazing perio cleanings and his machine is THE BEST to where you don’t have to get shots to numb your mouth for it all. Not to mention his assistants, they are soooo sweet! And KATIE SUCH A sweet heart I love her!! She's always there to listen to my concerns and overthinking lol. They even ask how I have been, how the kids are etc..they make you feel like family, and I couldn't be more happy, so glad I made the change years ago! You should too!!
