Dr. Kalra and ALL of the PA’s at Pain Medicine Consultants are some of the best health care professionals I’ve ever worked with as both a patient and a caregiver. Dr. Kalra truly cares about his patients. He provides answers that have decreased my pain by 80%. While my case is complex, my husbands is more so. He lives with Muscular Dystrophy and Dr. Kalra and all the PA’s have been with us by our side. They work in coordination with outside agencies such as Stanford Neuromuscular and out of network doctors. They are our safe space when we need it. The nurses and MA’s are just as special. I’ve seen some patients who are in need of help and just arriving to PMC for the first time get upset because they were too late or missed their first appointment and can’t be seen that day. These people need to be patient, show up when they are expected and TRUST that the office will care for their needs. EVERY office has a procedure to begin treatment and the key is to get through the doors of any pain management or specialist. Trust me when I say, you will NEVER find a pain management team more advanced and experienced as this one. Thank you for all your care PMC!

The Pain Management Specialist’s musical offices are clearly a cut above. From the care when patients are greeted at the check-in desk, the properly clean environment throughout the facility, and the amazing highly skilled Doctors, Management, and staff. Most important of all, when the patient (myself) has questions or are struggling with the paperwork...they are right there to help in time of need with kindness. Dr Kalra is my Specialist and I can be more thankful.

I have known Dr. Kalra for about 10 years and in that time he has done everything to help me manage my chronic pain. I would not go to anybody else. He is more than highly recommended. He is also a great human being on top of an excellent physician. Do not hesitate to make an appointment with him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kalra’s for about 15 years. I also see Beth, a PA for routine visits. I really appreciate the care, professionalism, courtesy, and the extra care the entire staff extends regularly and more importantly, when a special need arises and I can always count on PMC to meet my needs. I have, and will continue to refer family and friends to PMC, knowing they will be in the best of care.

My 3 visits with Dr. Kalra focused on pre treatment, treatment and after treatment evaluation. I found the concern with my condition was very positive. The staff treated me with concern for my deafness, My hearing was not improved due to all having to wear masks. Everyone made sure I heard and understood the instruction. Thank you all.

Dr. Kalra is a very compassionate physician. I have witnessed over the years how he uses a high level of skill and expertise to help people feel better. I would be happy sending a family member or friend to him for empathetic medical care.

Things were fine for several years. It became obvious that I really didn’t need to see a doctor every time, so I was seeing a PA each time - a different one each time. That would have been okay, except that each one prescribed something different. The final straw was when I got a bill for $50 for a doctor I had never heard of, let alone seen for the all years I went to see a “lead” doctor. I was told I hadn’t shown up for an appointment and that I had no insurance. Well, I DO have insurance, and I do NOT just ignore appointments. I am so careful about appointments that I call on the way ( I don’t drive; I have a caregiver) if I am going to be even a couple of minutes late. I told the billing people this and that I flat out wasn’t going to pay for something that I should not have been billed for in the first place. They decided to remove the charge, but that I shouldn’t not show up again (again). That won’t be a problem, because I am never going back to that pain consultant office again! Boy the way, two stars are for the fact that it started well.
