I recently had an appointment at Sequoia Valley Dental Group, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The waiting room was clean and had a calm, pleasant atmosphere that helped ease any nerves I had about being at the dentist.

The hygienist was incredibly thorough but also gentle during the cleaning, explaining each step of the process as she went along. I never felt rushed or like just another patient—they really took their time to ensure I understood my dental health and what I could do to improve it. Dr. Kim was equally impressive, walking me through my X-rays and offering advice without pushing unnecessary treatments or procedures.

What I appreciated most was the transparency and the genuine care the entire team showed. Dental visits can sometimes feel transactional, but here, it felt like they truly cared about my long-term health and well-being. I left with my teeth feeling great, and I’m actually looking forward to my next visit—a statement I never thought I’d make about going to the dentist! If I could give zero stars, I would. My family has been loyal patients of Sequoia Valley Dental Group since 2005, but ever since Dr. Richey left, this place has completely gone downhill. My father recently went in to schedule an appointment and pay a bill, only to be met with disrespectful and unprofessional customer service. The front desk staff treated him as if he was an inconvenience, chewing gum, eating candy, and laughing in his face when he tried to ask simple questions. This kind of disgusting behavior is completely unacceptable especially in a professional setting. What makes this even worse is that my father is not one to complain, so for him to come home and tell us about how poorly he was treated speaks volumes. After years of loyalty, I am beyond disappointed with how this office treated my father. If you’re looking for a professional and respectful dental office, stay far away from this place. You deserve better than being disrespected and ripped off.
