I highly recommend Spine Zone. I started with considerable lower back pain. After 14 sessions over 7 weeks, I am pain-free and in much better physical shape. Everyone who worked with me was caring and professional. The equipment there was top-notch. They also send an e-mail each day that is well done with exercises you can do at home. It was fun too!

Sophia and her crew are excellent, very professional, and friendly. I've had two prescribed series with them, one for sciatic and one for knees. I have continued on their maintenance regimen. For the first time in years, I can now do my volunteer work and take long hikes in the mountains PAIN FREE!

I have referred my patients to Spine Zone with great feedback, but finally this year, I needed physical therapy myself for an old back injury, so I became the patient.

The physical therapists that worked with me were Dr. Bon, Dr. Sofia, and Evan, PTA. Immediately from my initial evaluation, I knew that my issue was being identified and the treatment plan was spot on. I appreciated the personalized treatment plans, and as a clinician myself, I felt comfortable leaning on the expertise of this talented team.

After finishing my PT, I can say that my old injury is completely pain free! I have confidence that I will continue to be able to treat it with the exercises and tools my Spine Zone team enabled me with. I will continue to refer my patients to Spine Zone and highly recommend them. 5/5 stars

I had been suffering from low back pain radiating down my right leg for about a year. Marcos and Emily were my primary therapists and they both were very helpful , courteous and knowledgeable. Sophia did my intake and discharge and was spot on with her assessment and treatment plan.

I went there with an open mind because I had not known anything about SpineZone prior to showing up. During my time, the one-on-one therapy provided was great. The therapist was concerned about pain level, flexibility, and the ability to lift weights. They listen to your needs and ailments. They tailor exercises to your ailment and don't do anything beyond that. SpineZone also offers at home exercises to perform in between sessions. I would definitely recommend SpineZone for treatment.

My experience with SpineZone Physical Therapy, La Mesa was so
helpful! Sophia carefully chose and monitored each studio and home
exercise. I appreciated the before and after photos of my growth.
I began with headaches and neck pain and after seven weeks of treatment
I am comfortable again!
Thank you.

SpineZone Physical Therapy - La Mesa has helped be three times in the last 10 years. Why, then did I need to come back in 2020? Fair question: because I stopped doing what they taught me, I gained back weight I had lost, and thought my spinal stenosis was no longer a problem. STUUUPID! Thankfully, they are still there and Medicare paid for the initial visits.

What makes SpineZone very different from other PT is the scientific research that formed the basis for this approach to managing back pain. Thanks to the ground breaking research work of the late Dr. Vert Mooney, effective alternatives to spinal surgery were developed. With the help of some biomedical engineers, the specific strengthening regimens were refined and are now the backbone ... ha, ha ... of the SpineZone methods.

My 2020 pain and immobility came on so fast and without provocation, I was teetering on the brink of surgery. My orthopedic surgeon encouraged me to give it a go, again, based on my great results previously. My structural defects are still there. However, the greatly improved quality of life, absence of pain and increased ability to do most all of what I enjoy doing is motivating me to now make the SpineZone system a continuing part of my aging life. As one of my older friends says, "at our age, staying healthy and alive becomes a full-time job."

Thanks to SpineZone my quality of life is almost as if my back were 50 years younger.
