This place is such a blessing. My mom was in their care in November. The staff and the doctor were wonderful. Mom was so much better after her stay here. We are so thankful for their knowledge and care of those with Alzheimer’s.

Please make sure to check on your family members in person, this facility seems like a great place for your loved one’s. One of my family members was referred by the doctor. We got her out of this facility due to elderly neglect and abuse! She had lost a lot of weight, I called for questioning and all we have gotten is negative attitudes with no feedback. If you truly care about your loved ones, please look at another facility! The picture inserted below is how they cut her nails!

Alzheimer’s is a horrible and mean disease. Not only does it steal a person’s memory but can also destroy their personality and demeanor. I have seen this happen to my Mother (and others). Desperate for help, we reached out to Sylvia Barr. This highly trained staff and facility made a tremendous difference when she was discharged less than two weeks later. She came home less confused and her precious personality and sweet demeanor had returned. Thank you Sylvia Barr for giving us more quality time with our Mother. We are forever thankful to you for your professional and quality care!

Slyvia Barr Center has an exceptional team which delivers quality and compassionate care . My family member received specialized care in a safe and supportive environment. The staff was able to identify the nature and cause and provide the most effective plan of care . We can not thank you enough !!

The staff were all awesome and did an great job with my dad who had been struggling with behaviors associated with Parkinson’s and dementia. My mom told me last night that she spoke to him and after being treated for two weeks he spoke more clearly than he had in 3 years. We are so grateful for this resource in our community.

I was very happy with the physician and staff who treated my mother at The Sylvia Barr Center, he corrected her medication and it made such a huge improvement in her daily life. She had a much better quality of life afterward and we couldn't have been more pleased.

My mom entered on Sept 14th a monday, walking and talking, by friday she was not able to do either!! After several heated conversations with staff that something was wrong they continued, on wednesday she was sent for another head scan and had had a double acute stroke and it attacked 2 areas on each side of brain.now she is in Tifton getting ready to be placed in a rehab, no ability to do anything for herself anymore!! If Lori is your nurss be fearful. I hate this place and her, im sorry but my heart us breaking for my mom.

My mother entered my grandmother in the Sylvia bar centre 2 years ago and it was such a wonderful place they really took care of my grandmother out very please with it and SherrySmith Rowan was the administrator who got my grandmother in. She was wonderful dealing with and was a pleasure speaking to.
