I can’t recommend this dental office based on the upselling and lack of compassion on my visits about a year ago. In particularly the aggressive Asian front desk saleswoman.

I should have known on my first visit when she upsold me on laser gum therapy which is 100% not covered by insurance.

On the second visit, I realized that the front desk girl was overcharging my insurance and also auto enrolling me to a maintenance plan to have me pay a bigger copay and to also bill my insurance for additional services. When I caught this, she got noticeably frustrated and started to scouring other things to sell me or bill my insurance.

A few months later, maybe due to their aggressive dental treatments (they are quite rough with cleaning, scouring for opportunities) I had to redo a root canal. They outsourced the procedure and offered options that were not covered or partially covered by insurance. I went with the partially covered option (Apex Endodontics) but regretted it as it was painful and poor in treatment that damaged my crown. To top it off, they overcharged my insurance so much that they started to ask for payments from me when my insurance rejected payment!

When I returned to this Yolinda office they said my root canal wasn’t old enough to be covered by insurance and it would cost me over 2k to replace my crown and to provide a temp.

Luckily I found a trustworthy dentist who did the temp for free (for an embarrassing missing front tooth), repaired my root canal, and created a new crown for literally half the quoted cost from Yolinda.

Be careful, this office operates like a scamming HMO provider.

Great professionals, very friendly and helpful staff. We don’t even live close by, but we still prefer to come here. Highly recommended

Dr Doncheva and staff have been amazing! Dr. Doncheva does an excellent job at being thorough and detailed, she takes her time making sure she gets the job done right! She explains what she will be doing before she does it and always makes sure my kids are ok during procedures and that they are comfortable.
