Going to the dentist and getting car repairs are two things people dislike to do. Going to Dr. Vallejo for my dental work was a great experience. He is very passionate, knowledgeable and fair when it came to my dental needs. If you are in the Prescott Valley area, I would highly recommend Dr. Vallejo, for all your dental care. Just switched over to taking my boys here, and the service is phenomenal! Would definitely like to thank your front desk employee for the recommendation. I have toddlers and the staff knew exactly how to work one on one with them and keep them happy while doing procedures. The hygienist especially, knew exactly how to keep the area calm and interact with my boys(which keep in mind, toddlers aren’t always the easiest). They are all so friendly and welcoming. Definitely took their time and made my boys comfortable. And the time efficiency in the place is on point. You are definitely in and out! So glad I chose them for our family dentist!

It's kind of terrible that I have to leave a negative review, especially since there are a lot of positives.

Dr. Vallejo is gentle, knowledgeable and affordable.

The issues:
- Appointments disappear from their computer, aren't put in, or are otherwise forgotten about. Three times I've showed up or called the day of my appointment to be told they have no record of it. This is incredibly frustrating as you to wait months for an appointment in the first place.
- Because of how long it takes to get in for appointments, and then even longer to wait for their reschedule, my teeth problems got worse.
- I was referred to a specialist to only have the specialist send me back to Dr. Vallejo, so I had to wait for an appointment again.

I have been using Vallejo for 2 years and thought I was getting great service. Within days of my last teeth cleaning and checkup I developed a severe tooth ache. When I called in to set an appointment to have it checked out, they said the best they could do was an appointment over 30 days out. It seemed odd, especially considering the circumstances... I got an appointment the next day at another dentist, tooth that was aching was the result of a filling that had come loose some time ago and was decaying/infected internally. Accordiing to Vallejo my teeth were in good shape and no further follow up was needed other than a cleaning down the road. The new dentist that ended extracting the infected tooth also found several other items that need to be addressed. I have needed a bridge for some time and have been putting off due to the cost. New dentist is 2.5K for the bridge, Vallejo was over 10k. In all honesty I just feel let down, I have referred Vallejo to many people. When you have been a customer for a decent amount of time and call in severe pain days after a tooth cleaning and get a response of "we're pretty busy, best we can do is 30+ days out" it makes it clear profits are more important to this company than patients.
