The service, quality, and attention to detail are the worst I have ever experienced. I am very dissatisfied with my ongoing service. In summary, I have been waiting for a dental cap for ~ four months.

In approximately February 2024, I had been fitted for a cap after one of my teeth cracked. I brought in the tooth and left it with the staff/dentist. Seems like an easy color match. Unfortunately, about 14 days later, I was shown the tooth in the poorly lit office and asked to sign a form that the tooth was “ok” by a non certfied dental assistant who was going to school(?). It seemed like excessive pressure, so I took a look with better lighting and the tooth was many shades off. Finally I spoke to the dentist who stated "I would not accept that"

I was told that I would have a new tooth with the correct color with a “few days” for it will be a rush. It is over 3 months and I am still waiting.

For a while, I called every other day or texted the office but have given up. When I call, I am told we will call you back, and I never get a call back. I am writing now because now I am being harassed for payment of services. Seriously?

The insurance company has asked me if the job is complete as you have stated in the billing (as per them). I do not feel comfortable answering at this time for I don’t want to get you in trouble. Being a fellow healthcare provider, I know the repercussions this may cause you. They billed my insurance company despite the work not being complete.

It has been almost 3 months since my initial consultation, during which it was determined that I require a dental cap. While I understand that there may be factors contributing to scheduling constraints, the delay has caused me considerable inconvenience and discomfort. A temporary cap on a tooth should not be placed indefinitely.

The urgency of this matter stems from a disgusting yellow tooth in my smile coupled with the apprehension of biting on that side.

They sent me to the lab for a color match and I was told to return to the lab in a week to review. Of course it was lost and the "signals got crossed" and the tooth was found in the dental office.

I feel as though I have no repercussions, and I cannot constantly contact your office without a reply. This is my only attempt at helping others.

Finally found a dental office that is on top of things! Easy to understand my out of pocket responsibility. Dentist and staff are top notch! Everyone is always smiling, helpful and happy to answer questions. Melissa is such a great part of the team (she is the one who explains $ breakdown and is on top of her game)! I've been to Westwind a few times starting this summer and I am very satisfied with my care.

I’ve had a great experience with becoming a new patient here at the downtown location. The staff was very thorough during the exam and made sure I understood what procedures needed to be done. The staff is very friendly and made me feel comfortable from the start. They made me laugh and helped me conquer my fear of going to the dentist. They also offer a financing plan that I can keep track of through an app on my phone. I’m happy to have found my new dentist 🙂

I’m not one to write reviews but this is a warning. My initial appointment was okay but their treatment plan pricing was way above the state standard. Furthermore, when I explained the issues with jaw popping they did not acknowledge it. I decided to get a second opinion and it was the best decision. I have now spent the past four weeks trying to cancel my payment plan I originally set up and they have only called me back once. When they did call back they just said they would escalate the situation. I have yet to hear back from them and Sunbit said it’s their responsibility to send a notification of cancellation. I am now getting charged for services I am not getting. This is clearly a company focused solely on pushing patients in and out the door for the most money possible. Save your time. Dont go here.

Three strikes and you're out. The final nail in the coffin is almost five months of trying to reach their Billing Dept since Feb so that I can bring my acct current. They never pick up their billing line and they have no voicemail. Just got notified that they're sending me to collections. I admit that after several months of trying to reach their billing dept, I forgot about it. Had to leave work to physically go to their office to make a payment since, once again, no one is available to take my payment over the phone.

My experiences with their techs and dentists has been mixed, but mostly positive. The negative experiences were mostly due to the technician possibly being in training and the dentist not overseeing their work appropriately causing me to come in to have something redone.

My experience today getting two of my front teeth filled at Westwind Dental went fine. There was no pain and Dr. Kalafus did a very professional job explaining what she was doing along the way. It made me less apprehensive that if I felt any pain she would stop.
