everyone here is so nice, from the front desk to the dental assistants and doctors. professional and very helpful. people with the negative comments probably don't understand the treatment plan or how insurance works. I didn't feel pressured or felt like I was being overcharged. they explain everything pretty thoroughly. high tech office with everything being up to date and cleanliness. can't stand offices with paper charts and outdated technology. hardly had to wait, office can get busy but staff overall is awesome and super friendly!!!! Encinitas smiles make dental visits easy

Encinitas smiles is such a great dental office! Dr. Lau and his team are all so nice and welcoming! They make everything easy going & smooth sailing! Had a deep cleaning done and it was what I needed! Awesome staff! Assistants walked you through every step when taking X-rays & made it seem so effortless! I know no one wants to be here but this is the place to go to! Referring friends and family even if we live kinda far. Front office is always smiling and so helpful! Dentistry here is modern and high tech, I’m just an old man who is glad that he left his old outdated office!

Anytime I've left Encinitas Smiles after a visit, I'm grateful that I'm a patient of theirs. During and after my most recent visit with the Hygienist, Vanessa, I was Impressed with not only how great the cleaning of my teeth was, but grateful that she took the time to address several questions I had about what I could do to improve my oral health. It's evident that everyone at Encinitas Smiles cares about each and every patient. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I notified the staff that I had terrible experiences with dentists before. I have an HMO, my insurance assigned me to someone who doesn’t work there anymore. So I got a different dentist. It was a blonde female, not sure her name because she never introduced herself. She was blunt, no empathy, told me what is necessary, not optional (including Visalign). And wanted to proceed with a $750 estimate for a deep cleaning day of. I asked if I could get my regular teeth cleaning and they said I’d have to wait because the hygienist wasn’t available. Wasnt that the reason I was there in the first place?!?

I left with nothing. Except being extremely upset. I called the front desk after and told them my experience and they were very nice. But still have yet to find a dentist who cares at all.

Highly do not recommend unless you want to be backed in a corner with no time to decide on your own health.

I had a crown fall out. On 11/17/22, Encinitas Smiles quoted 785 dollars for the dental work. After three years of getting ripped off at Encinitas Smiles, I decided to get a second option. The next day, 11/18/22, I went to Oasis Smiles, the same franchise, same problem, same insurance. The final bill was 15 dollars. Oasis Smiles, located in Vista and Rancho Bernardo, has a friendly professional staff that provides quality dentistry. Thank you, Dr. Bhor!

I just had my first appointment and it was amazing. The technician was efficient, the dentist listen to what I had to say, and very thoroughly examine me. I was then given recommendations, which were very reasonable. I am so glad I switched to Encinitas Smiles!!
