My daughter faced challenges with a recent move, and some other personal issues and it was recommended that she attend ROWI to help her adjust. Initially, she was skeptical and resistant, but by the end of the program, she was in tears because she had completed it. They provided various therapy methods, blending traditional techniques with some unconventional options I never considered. The staff consistently demonstrated professionalism, patience, and support toward both my daughter and my husband and me. I have recommended ROWI to other parents with adolescents, whether they're struggling or not, and will continue to do so. It truly was a blessing for our family.

ROWI truly offers customized and compassionate care. Our family was struggling to support my teens mental health needs and after a 14 day hospitalization being admitted to ROWI was a literal lifesaver. They not only helped my child become more stable, confident and cope, they offered outlets and encouragement for our family as well. Staff is patient, kind and willing to explain things to you. As a parent I was always included and supported. We are forever grateful to ROWI!

Our 14 year old son attended ROWI in the intensive outpatient program (IOP). We heard about ROWI through his school district's mental health referral program and were able to schedule a tour and assessment very quickly. The facility is super nice, secure, and designed to make the kids as comfortable as possible. Kelly, the director, spoke to us after the tour and assessment and told us that he qualified for care and we worked out a start date. We were contacted later for money stuff and it was nice that that was always separate from his care. IOP is an after school program where they participate in many different types of therapy and lessons on self-awareness and emotional regulation. Whenever his individual therapist felt there was something that we needed to know, she would contact us immediately and even made sure we were doing okay, as it's not always easy having one of your children in a program like this and dealing with the reasons why they're there. We did regular family therapy sessions so that we as parents could be sure to understand the best ways to support our son and whenever we had questions or concerns arise, they were always quick to respond via email or phone. The best thing about the program is that whenever I came into the office I could tell everyone that worked there genuinely cared for him and how he was doing. These are people who want to help these kids feel better and work through whatever they're going through. There is an end goal from the start and they work really hard to get the kids to a place where they won't need this level of treatment anymore, and they also check to make sure when they phase out of the program they will still have the appropriate level of support needed outside of ROWI. At a time I was really worried about my son, ROWI was one place I knew I didn't have to worry, and if you've been in a situation where your child needs a program like this you know that's such a big deal. It's been 6 months since he graduated the program and even though there will always be work to be done (all of us always have our things) he has grown so much, is so mindful of his emotions, and is our sweet happy guy again. I'll always be grateful for ROWI and glad we made the decision to send him here.

My daughter attended ROWI for roughly 5 1/2 months. She began with the PHP program and worked into an IOP program. This was our second try at an IOP program.

Our first program was with Loma Linda. It was a terrible experience that made unwanted behaviors worse during the short amount of time that she was there. (Less than 10 days).

I was reluctant to give another IOP program a try, but I am grateful that we did.

ROWI takes the time to really dig deep into these kids and work with them on every level. My daughter had ups and downs about showing up but grew to love it. The team worked closely with us to ensure that we were receiving the best care. If I had an issue or unwanted behavior at home or with school, I could reach out, and they would assist me the best they could. They would then implement similar strategies during the hours when my daughter was there. It was a great reinforcement to the discipline she was receiving at home. I remained heavily involved in my daughters treatment plan and attended family therapy sessions. They are flexible with scheduling, which worked great because I have other children to tend to.

Overall, ROWI's program helped my daughters behaviors improve. They also have an "alumni night" where the kids can meet up with the friends they made after they complete the program. My daughter has enjoyed this part of the program, and since she struggles with social engagement, this gathering helps her maintain friendships while continuously receiving support.

I highly recommend ROWI if your child is struggling with their mental health.

ROWI RC is an incredible mental health oasis for kids struggling in different areas of their lives. The staff and program director are not only incredibly skilled and experienced in the field but they truly put their heart and soul into supporting their clients! The kids get access to a variety of different groups including breathworks, nutrition coaching, equine therapy, music and much more! ROWI is truly a one stop shop for supporting clients with their mental health. What is especially amazing is that they not only focus on the individual youth but also the family through family sessions which really aides in getting treatment goal attainment while sustaining progress long term. I cannot recommend them enough!

Rowi has saved our daughter’s life! Since our daughter was in 6th grade she starting harming herself. She ended up at Kaiser then Del Amo Hopsital which unfortunately seemed to feel routine. She went in and out of Kaiser then Del Amo 4 times. I knew there had to be something better, some other program because this wasn’t working and she needed help. I reached out to her school counselor whom had been aware of this long journey. By this time she was in 8th grade and it seemed to be getting worse. She recommended Rowi for her and mentioned what the program had to offer and what they do. I was sold- yes! Please help my daughter!! After some back and forth with insurance she was able to get approved and get started.

From the beginning everyone at Rowi Rancho Cucamonga was wonderful!!! Always so kind and welcoming. Ms Dianna always joking with the kids and making everyone feel welcomed. The admissions team was very clear and on top of things. We soon began to learn the staff and the routine. We also started weekly family therapy sessions which I am forever grateful for!

They have changed our lives and our family. Our daughter struggled. At first it was fun and new but then she was forced to face the deep issues that have been hurting her for so long. This is when change happened. Some days were good and some days not so good. But I can honestly say she is not the same kid who came out! She’s stronger, more aware, deeper and definitely happier!!! She’s learned to cope with everyday situations, she’s learned to talk and express herself instead of holding it in and harming. Making me cry thinking about this long journey but I am truly glad we ended it with Rowi. I will be forever grateful and hopefully have forever friends. Our daughter will be back for Alumni days. This is where those that graduate can come back to visit and help those in the program with their story.

Really good place for Intensive Outpatient Therapy stepping down from a residential stay. Great staff and vibe. Very well organized and well run. I was impressed at what my teen gained from their thoughtful follow-up and interactions here. The staff is genuinely caring and invested in the kids' success. The program is exhausting and time consuming, but worthwhile.
